I was getting a little annoyed at the free hosting sites and all the advertisements that got plastered onto my pages.  Things seemed to be slow at times too.  So I got my own domain and found a decent hosting package.  I then signed up for a couple other domains.  I started a web hosting company to host my domains.  Check out LandingBay.com for details on the plans I offer.
